Mile 1,415.7 - 1,432.3

We got a late start hiking today, but that was the plan. We always maximize our stay in town and rest as much as possible. Balance did her resupy this morning at the Safeway market. I did mine yesterday afternoon.
We were told while checking in yesterday that the motel can arrange a ride back to the trail for us. So that's what we did. The motel called local trail angel Mary and she was there in 5 minutes. What a nice woman, and she would not take any money we offered.
Just one mile back on trail and we came across the largest trail magic we had ever seen. No one was there but it was set up like a pack of Boy Scouts were camping there. It was incredible. We didn't need much as we just had come from town.
Another hot day but not as bad as the last few days. A big highlight was Burney Falls State Park. Burney Falls is a 192 foot waterfall with more than a million gallons flowing a day. The State Park also had a store where hikers gathered for cold drinks.
We hiked another 10 miles after the falls. It took us awhile to find a campsite tonight. No flat spots as we were climbing towards the end of the day.

Wild Bird Cache- some amazing people put this together.

Owen and Kat checking out the pantry in the trail magic. This place was stocked full of hiker supplies.
