Mile 2,148.0 - 2,155.0

Last night we set up camp at one of the many campsites on Eagle Creek Trail. Eagle Creek is Oregon's most popular hiking trail and we see why. It was beautiful. Instead of racing into town, we decided to camp near a waterfall and cruise into town this morning.
We saw more amazing falls, like Punchbowl Falls. We only had around four miles to finish the Eagle Creek Trail, but then we still had a few miles of bike path to hike before walking right into the town of Cascade Locks.
Cascade Locks is on the border of Oregon and Washington, seperated by the Columbia River. This is a very small town but perfect for hikers. We will rest and recover the remainder of today and hike into Washington over the Bridge of the Gods tomorrow.

Welcome to Cascade Locks, Oregon.

That's our route for tomorrow. We can't wait to be in our final state, Washington.

  1. WELCOME TO WASHINGTON!!!!! Saving the best for last, may it treat you well and speed your tired feet toward the Canadian border. You have come so far, and only 550 miles to go. May your feet have wings!
