Water cache by Third gate - very much appreciated by thru-hikers; otherwise we have 33 miles with no water.
Boiling springs break spot.
Eagle rock formation - see the eagle?
The Plan: To thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail. The PCT is 2,663 miles long and ranges in elevation from just above sea level at the Oregon-Washington border to 13,153 feet at Forester Pass in the Sierra Nevadas. The route begins at the US-Mexican border and ends at the US-Canadian border. The PCT passes through 7 national parks and 25 national forests. Our goal is to become Triple Crowners: AT, PCT, CDT.
Glad you have company along the way. Your camp in the shade of the trees looks quite comfy!
