Mile 190.4 - 210.8

What an amazing day it was today. We woke up freezing cold. Extremely hard getting out of our sleeping bags this morning. Once we did get up it only took minutes until we warmed up and were shedding clothes. The views today were incredible. We went from over 10,000 feet to 1,500 today. The temperatures today were from the low 30's to the low 90's. This desert is not easy, but it's beautiful in its own way.

Fuller Ridge off in the distance. We hiked that yesterday in snow.

Balance checking out the scenery.

200 miles down is the good news. The other side of this signpost said 2,463 miles to go. Oh my!

Can you believe this. More trail magic. This is the PCT famous Ziggy and the Bear's house. We signed in at 723 & 724 so far this year who stayed at their home.  About 90 - 100 came through just today. One big slumber party tonight.

  1. What's the story with Ziggy and the Bear? Was this right on the trail, or a side trip? Did they feed you? Looks like you stayed there, good to be airing the blisters.
