I can't believe the color of the flowers here. How can they be this colorful, getting almost no water? Amazing flora in the desert.
One of our favorite campsites so far. This is a one tent site. Y-Knot's white backpack is sitting on the trail. The bad thing about this site is that there is a lot of poison oak all around.

A very nice set of photos - that blue-and-yellow flower combo is gorgeous!! And Silverwood Lake looks like a pretty place, cool and wet - so glad you did get to swim there. Immersing yourself in water must be a very special treat these days!
