Mile 2,371.3 - 2,392.9

A wet horrible nights sleep last night. We were desperate for a campsite, since it was getting late and raining hard. Setting up camp in a pouring rain is a recipe for trouble. The inside of our tent was soaked by the time we could put the rainfly on. I used my bandana to dry off the tent floor, with little luck. We got through it, but it wasn't a fun night.
This morning showed signs of more rain, but it held off, and by afternoon the sky began to clear. A far better day today than yesterday. Washington may be our toughest state due to the weather. We just have to keep positive and not let it get the best of us. Hard to do while soaked to the bone and freezing, but that's backpacking.

At lunch we dried out all of our gear. It was more the wind than the sun that dried things out. Almost everything dried.

It cleared enough by afternoon to get some views.

Balance getting water from a waterfall. We are drinking a fraction of what we did in the desert. We still have to be careful not to dehydrate, even if it's cool out.
